The screen and front side are exposed, and it can be risky during <strong>transportation or washing<\/strong>. Whether it\u2019s in a bag, a toolbox, or when equipment gets rinsed, the cover helps keep the Foxlap safe from accidental shocks, splashes, and unwanted contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3D Printable Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I created a 3D model of the cover.<br>\ud83d\udc49 The <strong>STL file is available for download<\/strong>, so anyone can print it at LapTimer<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>This piece is a custom mounting adapter designed to <strong>quickly install and remove a FoxLap tachometer<\/strong>.<br>It is secured in place with a wing nut, allowing the minimum in <strong>PETG<\/strong> to provide sufficient strength under mechanical stress and vibration.<br><strong>PLA is not recommended<\/strong>, as it is likely not strong or heat-resistant enough for this application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During slicing, a <strong>print pause must be inserted<\/strong> at the appropriate layer in order to place the bolt inside the part before resuming the print.<br>This ensures that the fastener is embedded securely within the structure, allowing the mount to be properly tightened with the wing nut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
